How do I know if I need wheel bearings? 200

I just replaced all 4 rotors and front pads (rear pads 10k ago) on my 93 244. I still notice some metallic, almost grinding noises coming from the front wheels when I brake. Is this normal? Or could it be time for wheel bearings?
