AC Problem 900

I have a 91 940.The ac was recharged a year ago though it still has a problem.At any air speed it will start slowly then maintain the setting for a short period of time,then slowly decrease to zero.This cycle continues as long as the ac is on. Any suggestions? Thanks Robert.
