'85 245GL B230F (217K) engine oil leak issues, questions 200

Fellow Bricksters:

A few months past while repairing my daughers ride [w/(217K) & Oil/Fiter changes every 3K] with a working AMM 007, new air box thermostat, throttle body cleaning and new flame trap I took the opportunity to also replace the oil accumulator box. I did not remove the old plastic tube that mounts on the side of the block and goes into the oil pan as it did not move.

While there had been a minor oil leak before I changed the oil accumulator box it seems like Niagara Falls now and the flow appears to be comming only on the passenger side and is leaking over the pass side motor mount replaced last summer.

Could it be leaking from the oil filter (MANN) gasket? The oil pressure sender was replaced last summer at the time the motor mount went in.

The oil cap test seems to indicate some negative pressure so I am scratching my head trying to figure this one out.

Any reccomendations on what and how to check.

How difficult is it to remove the oil pan to replace the oil accumuator hose and oil pan gasket if those may be the culprit?

As always your help is appreciated.

Thanks
