Instantaneous power loss when making sharp left turns and accelerating 200 1988

This problem is an apprent electrical failure/power loss, but only when making left turns under acceleration. I actually submitted this a while back, but lost the thread. I do remember a response saying that the problem was probably related to the wiring harness near the front and to the left of the engine. (Oil filter area.) I checked there and found no loose plugs and no frayed or worn wiring/insulation. Are there any plugs in that area that can come loose or corrode? Would someone mind giving me the rundown again? Sorry for the repeat request, and thanks again for the help.
