I was in a trout fishin derby last weekend on the Cape here in Ma. One of the boys brought his two seater Chevy truck and one brought his new Jeep Liberty. Needless to say none of these would be big enough to hold the four of us (over 200 pounds each) and all of our fishin gear. Good thing I brought my trusty old 89 245 wagon along! It is in pretty good shape for a 16 year old with over 276K miles on the clock. We had a nice ride out to Wellfleet and when we took a side road to the pond I was a little scared of the road as it was all sand and I was thinking we would get stuck. My buddies were amazed that the old girl could do a road that most four wheelers would have a work out to make it thru! We dragged a bit underneath but made it thru! Got over 20 MPG on the trip as well! Been thinking of selling the old girl as I just bought the wife another 92 745 and we realy don't need two wagons but I just can't seem to let her go... Oh well, I hope you all enjoy my Brick story... Once again these cars amaze me!!! I guess I'll think again about selling it when the clock turns over 300K!!!!
