940SE Head Replacement

I had the unfortunate experience to lose the water and as a result the engine got hot. Pulling off the valve cover indicated there is at least a stuck exhaust valve, all the others appear to operate normally. When the engine cooled down, I turned the engine over and it spun as if there was zero compression, but that doesn't add up with just one valve sticking.

I had hope to be able to keep the tubro intact with the exhaust manifold. After I removed the nuts on exahust manifold (only one stud came out), I found that I couldn't move the exhaust manifold far enough to clear the studs. Is there something I am missing here. I didn't see anything in FAQ addressing this area.

At this point, I have to replace temperature sensor, as it broke when trying to remove the connection. I also thought I might as well replace the cranksensor as it has never been replaced and the knock sensor just to be on the safe side due to fact that the engine got hot.

Any help from those that have done this would be appreciated.

Thanks ahead
