Could THIS brick be too good to be true? 200

Hello all,
I went to New Hampshire two days ago to look at that Volvo. A total bleepin waste of time! I should've never went! But anyways, there's this 1987 brick at a dealership that this guy's selling for $2000. It has no rust whatsoever, and he says that the car has had one meticulous owner. The only thing that scares me is that the car has 200,100 miles on it. I told him the most I was going to pay for it was $1500 and I think he'll come down to that price. My biggest concern is the fact that A.I'm probably overpaying for this car and 2.The car has 200K on it, stuff is going to start breaking left and right! But the other half of my mind can rationalize me buying this car because a Volvo that has been meticulously taken care of at 200K can last me a long time whereas I'll be waiting for months to find a brick that has 150K and lower...I don't know, I'm just really confused and I need your help! Thanks so much guys!
