Rubber 'F' Pipe in Pulsair System Broke...? 900

I should have figured this would have become a problem when I bought the car.
The "F" shapped rubber pipe forming an important part of the Pulsair system was repaired before I bought this car. There was high-temp silcone smeared all over it, but it appeared solid and functioned properly.

Well, today I was replacing the thermostat in my 1995 940 (B230FD) and in moving the various hoses around to get to the thermostat, the rubber F-tube came apart with no resistance whatsoever. Makes me think that it may have been leaking for some time. Also makes me wonder if it has something to do with my lower than-proper mileage (?)

Anyway, the lcoal autoparts store doesn't have it (carquest) and I can't find the stupid thing listed at any of the Parts Dealers I visit (FCPG, VLVW, eBay). Parts guys tell me that it's a dealer item, so I fear just how much $$$ this stupid little hose gonna cost me?

So ideas on sources, estimates on the cost of this stupid little hose? Warnings about how this thing can destroy my nice volvo right before my 1.600 mile road trip?
