Hey all, I have an '82 242 Turbo. I replaced the pre-pump and now the main fuel pump is much noisier than it was/should be. ALSO, when I get up to around 4000 rpm I get black smoke out the pipe. Seems like too much fule in the mix. I adjusted my base mixture with a dwell meter. Any guesses on these issues? Are they related or coincidence?
