Drove through flooded street, now won't start.. help! 900

I have a 1993 960.

I was driving home after work Friday night and we had a massive thunderstorm with rain which caused alot of flooding in the streets.

I drove along with traffic (20-30 mph) in about 6" of water through several areas with no problems. Suddenly, there was a dip in the street and water level was about 24". I could see the water splashing almost over the hood. The car stumbled and I just laid down on the accellerator in hopes of getting through without stalling. I would say that I drove approximately 12-14 feet forward through this.

Well, I made it through and the car did stall just after the "dip". I was able to crank it again and drove another 300 yards and it stalled again and would not crank. I got a friend to tow me home and I'm at a loss as to what has happened.

Thusfar, I've checked:

- No fault codes are showing
- No fuses are blown
- Removed cover over ignition coils/spark plugs and there was no water
- No trace of water in/on any of the wire bundles

The car will turn over and put the battery charger on it overnight to make sure I had a full charge as I've tried many times to crank.

Any ideas, suggestions?

Thanks,

Scott
