discharging while running 200 1987

I have a 240 that will not charge the batterie while the car is running.I have changed the alternator, batterie,positive cable, I even rewired the alt light wire, now can the starter/solenoid be a reason? (thats where the field wire goes to) please help I want to sell the car (duaghter purchased a new one) but would like to fix first, any suggestions
