Hi guys,
something strange happens to my brick for the last few weeks. If I accelerate hard, at kickdown or near it, the idle becomes significally higher afterwards. To get it back to normal, I have to switch the ignition off and start it again.
I can drive hundred miles with idle ok, but once I overtake someone with my heavy leg on gas pedal, it's here. A quick restart procedure always helps, so I don't think it's a stuck cable. What do you think about it? My '88 240 has B230F engine and LH2.4 injection.
