I've got an '84 760 Turbo with the automatic climate control system. When temps are cool out ( say below 50) it takes the system forever to turn on. It always works in the defrost mode ( no matter what the temp). Also, I can always hear the blower motor barely running ( with the control set to off). I know it should do this ( my 960 makes the same noise even with the system off). That's how I can tell if the climate control will come on or not. This car's engine also runs very cooly ( below 1/4 of the way up on the temp gauge). That has always been the case, even with a new thermostat, radiator and water pump.
I was just wondering if anyone else has a car with this system and might have some info on it.
Thanks,
Dave
