In a brief moment of temp. insanity , I consented to sell my beloved '89-244. It's been gone now for 3 months and I am suffering from severe volvwithdrawal. I've decided that I can't continue like this, so I am on the prowl for another Volvo. Right now I'm leaning towards a 242 or a turbo wagon. This time I would like to have a stick shift, but I'm flexible. An early 740 caught my eye also, but I don't know much about them. The only must is that the body has to be rust free. At this point I'm even considering a "project" but I may get over that.So... 1) is a 740 comparable? 2) Anyone have a deal on a 240? 3 )Will I get over this sickness or is it terminal?
