I run a 1989 760 gle here in the uk.Ive just noticed a slight coolant leak in the v valley.
It is not a torrent more a weep.The leak isnt from between the head and block,it is from what Seems to be the bottom of a head bolt hole,a non blind one.
Looking from the front the leak is on the left side near the front.
Is this a common problem on the prv-v6.Somebody has suggested taking out that particular bolt out and using sealent to stop the leak/weep,dont like the idea of taking just one bolt out.
I cant detect any signs of cylinder leakage into the coolant system.
If it does come to a head off situation ,what is the best method to avoid diturbing the liner seals when removing the heads...
