unidentified electrical connection 200 1984

There is a two wire (black, blue/red) unconnected female plug beside the ignition module on the passenger side front of my 240. Any idea what it might be for? I tried to find a description in the schematic but had no luck. On British cars those colour wires would indicate that is a lighting connection, but I found that Volvo does not always adhere to a strict colour coding for particular circuits.
