I have been noticing a problem as of late. Often in reverse and when the car has just been started (really the only time i use reverse, backing out of the driveway or parking spots) i let the clutch out all the way using little to no gas, the car will start to like lurch forward and back. i know i am shifting right because sometimes i will do the same and nothing will happen. to try and provide you with a better idea, it seems like someone is flooring it and then letting off really quick over and over, but the tach doesnt show anyhting, and it is a pretty responsive tach.
Any ideas? I was thinking maybe it was the transmission mount, i just replaced the right side motor mount about 1k miles ago because it had completely rotted through from oil saturation. Clutch is still strong, know this because it downshifts really well. Everyother gear is beautiful, even first when starting out, but i think that is mainly due to the speed of first compared to reverse.
Thank you
Joe
