Hi yall - I bought a 745T last year that came with a set of 4 5.5Jx15"x25 wheels. I drove these last year mounted w/ 185/65 15 gislaveds. Snow performance was good, but on dry road the car understeered horribly.
I'm trying to have better dry performance without losing the snow traction, so Im probably going to run a 195/65 15 which actually is closer to the circumference of the stock 205/55 16. (I need to run 4 studded snows).
I then noticed that the 740's are supposed to have a 6" wide rim (?) it's in my manual and in the alldata or whatever the yards use.
So should I go buy 4 used rims at 6" wide - will it help the dry road handling? Some I've asked say yeah, some say no.
I welcome comments on either idea.
Thanks
