Front speakers that fit with stock grills 700 1989

Anybody find a good set of speakers that will work with the original grills for the front doors? Crutchfields said a 5 1/4 one I ordered would work but the hole was too big They worked OK on the back, though. The front stock speakers are actually an odd shape - wider than tall.
