1987 740 started then died 700 1987

Well, we did order the fuel pump relay got it in and the car started and ran for about 15 minutes...sputtered and died. Wouldn't start again. We still have fire to the spark plugs...checked that. We have to order all our parts online....no one has parts in Amarillo Texas. We've ordered quiet a few from Autohausaz.com and have been very pleased with the price and shipping time. Anyway....new fuel pump and inline pump is on the way. If that doesn't fix it...we will order a new distributor. Thanks for everyone's help. Will keep you informed with progress. Despite everything.....this is the best car I've ever had!!
