What's the normal resistance of Bougicord Class F spark-plug wires ? 700 1985

I've measured the resistance of 2 sets of Bougicord Class F spark-plug wires (for my 85 740 GLE), and I get the following (shortest to longest length) resistances - all in K-ohms

To Spark-Plug 4: 1.23
To Spark-Plug 3: 1.78
To Spark-Plug 2: 2.25
To Spark-Plug 1: 2.86

Ignition to Distributor: 2.23

Again - these are all kilo-ohm measurements. Is this normal ? I was a bit surprised actually, as I was expecting to see no resistance at all.
