brake lights 200

YES the infamous 240 tail light, LOL. WEll here goes Just had the car inspected (1990 240 ) passed with flying colors. And I just noticed the brake light on the drivers side is out. Ok I did the basics checked all bulbs(good), I checked the ground and the fuse(good), and I also replaced the circuit board, with a brand new one so that is absolutly perfect. Now the kicker is I get one bulb to work when applying the pedal, when not applied no lights at all. Also the third brake light works as it should, and the passenger side brake lights are fine.Any secret places to look for a possible bad ground or anything? Or some sort of relay? Also I noticed that the passenger side has one white socket, my drivers side does not, could this be it, is the white socket a diffrent rating or something? ANy help or Ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks Again and sorry so long HAPPY BRICKING
