I wanted to get your opinion about the following B21F engines that I would like to get at least the cylinder head and maybe the engine. The junkyard won't do compression testing, but I got the following descriptions and pics of spark plugs (all except the last car). Please tell me which one(s) you think would be best for me to pull and why:

#1 Bosch spark plug in photo is from 1980 245DL, 157,153 miles, badly worn seats, clutch pedal worn, timing belt changed 9/23/93 at 143,500 miles, engine ID #848, dried oil on water pump, engine gravel shield, valve cover toward front on both sides, and thermostat housing, oil pan drains dark brown oil, lots of leaves on firewall, flame trap clear and new, brown and dirty brake fluid

#2 Bosch spark plug in photo (seems to have lots of impacted carbon); 1982 244 GL, 182,737 miles, CA registered 1991, timing belt cover #961; oil is brown/amber w/1 mm particles present, ATF is pink w/some brown; oil pan drains black fluid; wire harness under engine has wet oil; thermostat, valve cover, water pump, and engine cover have dried oil; no wear on brake pedal, seats gone; left fender front moderate damage; lots of rust and white on battery tray; air filter dirty

#3 Bosch spark plug in photo, very black
1982 244 GL, 212,778 miles, no seats, worn brake pedal; oil dipstick contains black oil; timing belt exposed but dry and intact; moist oil inside left firewall; no oil on water pump; oil only on camshaft seal, ie not dripping; dried oil on temp sender; oil pan has no oil on outside; camshaft bearing @2 dry w/o rust

#4 Bosch Platinum spark plug in photo, belongs to
1982 245 DL. engine #961; 210,647 miles, mild rust left quarter panel w/moderate dent, police impound, no wear on brake pedal, seats gone, spark plug #1 lots of carbon, Platinum spark plugs, water pump dry, oil pan drains amber oil; oil: wire harness (lots), thermostat housing, intake manifold, hood, oil pan, PS housing; tranny fluid is light brown
