My wifes 89 244 auto just came in with the rear brakes sounding metal to metal.. Yep that was what it was..The left rear pads are gone.. but wait the right ones are in good shape,, hmmm only about half gone on the right side and metal to metal on the left..Bad caliper on the right or left??? Any ideas? No brake failure warning light so I assume that the pressure is equal,,I replaced teh pads and the pistons went back into the calipers without any excessive pressure so I am thinking they are not frozen. Checked the right side and they seem to be working properly, they go in and out without sticking..I am stumped.
