GAS FUMES IN TRUNK AND CABIN

Hello all,

It's been a long time since I've used the brickboard, but it's never failed me in the past, so here I am again.

My brother and a friend took off the hose connected to the throttle body and sprayed some throttle body cleaner in there. It was originally just to check if the TB needed cleaning (and it does). Ever since that day, the check engine light has been (2 weeks now). Several days ago, I started to smell these strong gas fumes in the cabin and the trunk of the car. It was so strong it made me dizzy and made my eyes water.

I have searched the board for answers but thought maybe it was connected to the TB incident.

Thank you to all those that respond!
