hi, i am soon planning to drop a b21ft into my 1980 242gt. I am going to be adding an intercooler and various other performance mods. I have been reading about some of the mods i am planning and the authors have noted that when an engines hp is increase from various mods the fuel mixture can become leaned out because the stock fuel delivery system cant supply enough fuel, which in turn will cause quick damage to the engine. Would putting a 700 series(i assume higher capacity) pump solve the problem? would i have to change out the fuel pressure regulator as well? any thoughts would be much appreciated. Also I was reading about putting on a 1990+ exhaust manifold onto the b21ft, but from what i have heard u must get it machined to fit the garret turbo housing. is this neccesary? or can i fabricate an adaptor to fit the housing to the manifold? (i have access to a lathe, welding tools etc.)
