Bob Wennerstrom's post in the 120/130 Forum reminded me . . . . In the last issue of "Rolling" Lee Cordner put in a plug for the new VCOA/Swedespeed web-site and listed the names of the people who will be moderating the various RWD forums there; among them Phil Singher for the Amazons. I sent an e-mail to Lee praising him and the VCOA for getting active in the web-world and for the people they had lined up to moderate the forums, but chided him mildly for not mentioning the 140 forum and its moderator -- all in good fun mentioning that this was characteristic of the respect this orphan Volvo model gets. Naturally, I was, promptly, offered the moderator job. I declined, pleading too scant knowledge of automotive matters in general, 140s in particular, and total ignorance about anything related to computers -- all woefully true. There are a couple of people who regularly post here, however, (I'm tempted to metion names, but won't, so as not to make the water I'm getting into any hotter.) who are exceptionally well-qualified for the job. So, if the shoe fits and you feel inclined to put it on, I urge you to contact lee@vcoa.org. I don't see this as creating unwanted competion for our Brick Board but rather as a way to encourage the VCOA and its members to keep up and, I hope, increase their interest in RWD Volvos, and especially in the 140 series.
