massive interior water leak 700 1987

Fellow bricksters,

I am experiencing a difficulty with my 740GL when it rains. We live on fairly hilly area and as a result the car is always either facing downhill or uphill, and whenever it rains it always accumulates water in the left hand side of the car in both passenger footwells (front & back). I have looked at the FAQ sections and it does mention this situation but refers to a car without air conditioning and mine has air. Apparently this is a common issue with 740's, is this true.
