master cylinder 700

Want to chnge the master cylinder in my 88 740gle. Never done that before. Any thing I should be aware of common probs etc.?

Secondly, I do not own a pressure bleeder. How do i bleed the brakes when i replace the master cylinder? Am i sapposed to bleed the brakes as usual or do I need to bleed the master only in order to pump all the air out through it. (so that I do not push air into the system as i bleed the brakes as usual or is that not a problem)
