Do I really have to remove intake manifold to replace faulty 960 eng wiring harness? 900 1995

So, I did it. I finally replaced the spark plugs and BOY did they need it. I'm tempted to find the previous owner and stick them in his...hand so he can see what a bad Brick owner he was. Of course, I know why-because, as what happened to me, the coil wires disintegrated (stupid distributorless ignition!--okay, not really, but I'm just venting) into the beyond and are no more. So, the car sits in my driveway waiting patiently for me to replace it's engine wiring harness. I read in FAQ that I must remove the manifold and I can see why. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
