1995 960 with check engine light-electrical see previous message 900

OK, I am back!! The 1995 960 is still in the shop!!

Yesterday morning I passed on everyone's responses to my Volvo shop, not sure if that was a good thing to do but I am getting a little fed up.
The shop has indicated that they have done all those things that everyone suggested.
The next idea they have is to replace the entire electrical harness. I understand a new one is $800.00 plus $400.00 labor and they are not sure if that is going to fix my problem. This is week number 10 and trip number 8 back to the mechanic.
I am picking up the car today to see if any of the cleaning, greasing, etc has helped, if not then I guess I will have to try the harness idea.

Can anyone recommend a good Volvo mechanic around the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area? I am getting a little frustrated at the one I am at. Seems they should have figured out by now what the problem is. They are a Volvo certified garage, that is all they do!!! They have been really nice, but extremely slow, also they have not always charged me for their labor but I think that they leave it out back until they have free time and then tinker with it. They keep it for days, even weeks on end. I have not complained since they rarely charge me unless they put parts on but I really don't think they are able to trace anything down. So...help!!!! Not much a mechanic myself.
