New Hall sender ... still intermittent no spark... Ignition Control Module?? ... what else? 700 1987

OK, I've been trying to troubleshoot this intermittent stall on my '87 760T...

symptoms are ... driving along then it's like the key was turned off and back on again, other symptom = it will start and run for 30 min. one time, then next time no start????

replaced the Hall Sender in the distributor, seemed to work but then no start again...

one possible solution I thought of is the elephant gun, but before I commit this thing to Volvo eternity I thought I'd run this by you guys to see if anything else could be causing it.

I'm thinking about replacing the ICM since that would be one cause of an intermittent no spark... where is the ICM in this bad boy? - I'm used to the 240 placement. Is the ICM pretty rock solid or do they have known problems?
