At the begining of the year, I tore down the dash to get the heater core repaired. Along the way, I was able to find all the brittle trim ring tabs and break them. I was also able to find that the vent grille between dash and windshield was not very sturdy and that the 'slight twist' my manual recommended for unlocking the dash tabs was not as slight as it seemed. The seats are worn and tearing at the seams, headliner is falling, yadayadayada.
Does anyone have a good source of interior parts? I found several that have dashs for just about every volvo except a '90 760. I am looking for a complete dash if possible, minus the gage and controls clusters.
PS: I found a DIY.com article on repairing a headliner (they used a '90 760T as an example: http://www.diynet.com/diy/ab_interior/article/0,2021,DIY_13689_3024327,00.html )
