Leaking Fuel Tank 700 1990

Greetings all

My fuel tank seems to have been hit by something which caused a small chunk of it to be chipped off. The tank is plastic.

Does anyone know what I might be able to repair it with? It's not a very large hole. Almost like a chisle hit it and left the damaged piece in place.

I tried the metal tank repair kit but I don't think the epoxy from that kit adheres to the plastic unit.

Anyone have an idea? TIA
