replacing springs or not? 200

To me the wagon springs seem really soft and mushy, i have replaced the shocks (Turbo Boge) about 900 miles ago...I am going with the IPD sways because the car isnt that sure of itself in corners, and turns... I barely put pressure on the Lt. or Rt. fender and the car can be compressed..I am 250 lbs. 6'5 though...I was wondering if the sways will grant me much better footing by themselves, or should i step to a harder or newer OEM spring? will the sways and old springs hate each other, i dont think they will, but i dont know how volvos repsond to these upgrades...i have heard great things about sways, but dont know if this how soggy the springs always are or if our springs wear soft after a certain amount of age and or mileage...(1989 245 5speed N/A, 185,000)

Thank you!

I dont really want to tear into the shock, springs again but to make it a much better handling car i sure will!

Robert
