Bricksters-
Need some advice here--
Wed night it rained like hel# in DE. I was driving home from work in the downpour and had to drive through some big puddles. Nothing extreme, but it was pouring. I parked the car and maybe 3 hrs later went to pick up a pizza.
Well, it started up but seemed to be missing and idling rough. It stalled a few times, but i got home ok. I thought it was fine. The next day it started fine, but later in the day, had idling problems and had trouble re-starting it.
It seems to be running ok now, but wasn't sure whether water was to blame here or the AMM. I've replaced it a few times already, and these syptoms seem familiar. I was thinking that the rain/ humidity worsened the performance of a failing AMM. Sound like a possibility? Any advice would be welcome.
PS- does anyone know what code AMM fits the 89? i forget.
Thanks in advance
