Idles low after driving 1800 1971

My '71 P1800 idles OK at cold start. But after I drive it, especially at high speed (highway), it idles VERY low while I'm sitting at a stop light. Sometimes I have to give it gas to keep it running. Is this just a simple adjustment of the idle, or something more else? Thanks!
