I know you are all anxiously waiting for news of my in tank pump replacement. I have emerged victorious though White Lightning put up a great fight. I always seem to turn a simple operation into a complete %@#%$^ disaster. Thanks rhaire. The hose did disconnect a foot or so back. After I cut it of the nozzle!! I was able to get it back on with enough length left. All in all I took the assembly in and out of the tank probably 5 times. All for that little whirring noise in the pump!
