hello brick lovers!

Today I just noticed something that wasn't there before. Normally I have the fan on #1, but today I noticed that it was on the OFF (or pointed past #1) position but I could feel and hear air coming from the air ducts at the level of #1 fan speed. Before the fan would turn off when it was switched to the far left. Is this something to be concerned about? All fan speeds #1-#4 work according to the speed level, BUT the fan does not turn off when in the off position. In the off position, the fan speed is that of #1. Is this an issue that I should be concerned about?

I have another question. How do I remove the front seat headrests? I can easily remove the rear headrests just by pulling them up. I need to remove my sheepskin covers and wash them. I bought the car with them, and it's been a long while that I took them off for a good wash. I just cannot seem to remove the headrests though! I've tried pulluing them up but to no avail. Do I need to use more force? Thanks so much!
