240 wagon cargo window gasket replacement

My 86 240 wagon has that rust spot in the corner right rear cargo window. i want to take the gasket off & the window out, treat the spot with por-15, and install a volvo wagon flush gasket that's found in later model 240s.

lots of questions:
can i do this? are they interchangeable? do i need the 93 gasket with the 93 rear cargo window? should i just get a glass shop to replace the gasket with the 86-90 style gasket?
