Spark Arrestor aka Flame Trap - PCV System 200 1986

I have a 1986 240 with 230,000 miles and going strong.

My mechanic (great guy who I trust) said he put a new spark arrestor in (also known as a flame trap) which is part of the PCV system. He said it should be cleaned once in a while.

I cannot find this part. Could someone please describe where this part is and how to keep in clean.

Thanks for any advice.
