Hey folks!
I'm in the market for a '93+ B230FT, since I have rod knock (that hasn't gotten more severe in the 6 months I've owned it, but I'm sure it will).
I'd like to get a '93 or newer since apparently they have oil-cooled pistons. Question is, what has to be changed on the new engine so it'll be compatible with my '91 940 (Bosch FI & ECUs)?
Do I just take the knock, FI ECT, RPM sensors off my current and install them in place of the Regina ones on the newer engine?
What about injectors, FPR, I/O manifolds, the turbo itself?
Thanks a lot!
Chris
