How to adjust header pipe bracket? 200 1990

Hi,
I changed out my motor and tranny mounts and now am getting some noise from the header pipe hitting the tranny support crossmember. I think the new mounts raised the engine and have pulled it up tight. In a previous post someone had suggested checking the header pipe bracket adjustment. How do I adjust this? I can see the two bolts and they appear to let it slide. Do I just loosen them and pry the header down and re-tighten or is there a better way? I haven't found instructions for this anywhere. It seems to be pretty much neglected in all the discussions about changing the header pipe.

Thanks!
Lyle
