Adding Cherry Turbo Braces 900

I have a 1993 940 NA. I am thinking of adding the Cherry Turbo upper & lower braces to it. My question is can I just drive the front up on ramps to put on the lower brace, or does the car have to be on a lift so the wheels are off the ground (no weight on them)?

Also, how difficult/how much time does it take? (I put the upper strut brace on my V70 and it was very easy)
