Hey fellow Bricksters,
my 86 Wagon is running again, engine seals repaired. Lets not talk about the cost :-((((. It sound considerably better tho, which suggest to me that the timing belt (or the water pump) was replaced just on time.
The thing that really pisses me off is: the mechanic who repaired the car doesnt know what on Earth a flame trap is or where is it, next Volvo dealer said it would take him two days to replace. Come on. I decided to buy it myself, and try to install it. Could anyone provide me with instructions? I wont flood the board with requests: the incompetence of some mechanics convinced me that im better off trying to fix things myself and have ordered a Bentley manual.
