What are the advantages/disadvantages of the different seat fabrics? 200

I want to replace all the seats in both my wagons sooner or later, and I want to know what the advantages are between cloth and vinyl. Obviously leather would be the #1 choice, but I don't know how fortunate I will be finding leather seats. I've looked in the archives for a comparison, but I can't find anything.

I also want to add seat heaters, if possible.

So, with all this in mind, what are the advantages/disadvantages of vinyl over cloth, and vise-versa?

I already know to avoid seats from ’77 240s, but are there other years I should stay away from?
