driveshaft interchangability 700

I was hoping to exchange the driveshaft on my car with one from my parts car.
On first glance the driveshaft lengths look different on the following cars :

- '87 740 Turbo Sedan (Manual tranny)
- '87 760 Turbo Sedan (Auto tranny) [parts car]

Can these be interchanged easily? or are they slightly different?

I feel that I have a problem with my u-joints and/or hanger bearing and wanted to just try a whole new assembly.
