replaced the timing belt today for the wife and after getting the old belt off i noticed the tensioner was starting to fail,it spun very freely and had a slight amount of play.i did not want to chance it going another 30k so i replaced it also much to the jubilation from the wife.she thinks i get in there and look for parts to replace. $$$$ are not a big problem but i dont think anyone replaces parts for the fun of it except for those repair shops that have no morals.i even had her help me for a few minuites to keep pressure on the belt going under the crank pulley since you need 3 hands when you get to that part of re-installation.any way i did not let it go any furthur,it was 36 miles from the 30k mark.i feel better and the 92 will roll on.
