Hello all,
I'm visiting my parents and doing some "Brickwork." I already converted my turbo wagon to the very cool (IMO) quad-round headlight set-up and rebuilt my driver's seat using passenger seat foam and lumbar support. I have moved on to the very sweet 1980 245 that my dad recently acquired (not running). The starter was bad, and I replaced that. There was no fuel pump noise, so I jumped fuses 4 & 5 and voila- a sweet, *running* car. I am guessing that the relay is to blame (does that sound right?). Where is the relay on the 1980 model? Can it be fixed (re-soldered) or does it need to be replaced? If the latter, can I swap in the relay from our 1983 244 parts car?
Thanks in advance,
Keith
