hi...
I have a 1989 200 series. Bought recently, runs great. However...
...I had a headlamp die on me tonight. When I looked at it, I was stunned to see that the housing was filled with water...looked like a goldfish bowl. It has rained a lot recently.
I do have a Haynes manual, and it seems to indicate this might be an ordeal. Questions:
---Any chance the light will "revive" if I let the water out of the housing (which I would do now, except it's 2 a.m.)
---How expensive are headlamp bulbs? Any chance I can just get away with replacing the bulb and finding out where the housing is cracked and taping it, or in the '89 200 series am I stuck replacing the whole housing and all?
Thanks, as always...mike
